Dear Friends,
Thanks for visiting our Fundraising page for LA Works Senior outing special event at Alexandria Care Center in Los Angeles.
As part of our regular monthly event the volunteers take seniors out shopping at a local store. Often this is the only time for the seniors to get out of the center. Many seniors go out just for that and not for shopping.
We are organizing a special event for the seniors where we will take them for a visit to the Griffith Park Observatory on September 27th. The visit will include watching a show at the renovated planetarium theater and picnic in the adjoining park.
An amount of $1000 is needed to cover the transportation cost which includes 3 specially equipped handicap vans and tickets for the show.
Your support will go a long way in bringing a smile on the faces of our seniors at the center. Every donation small or big counts.
