ENGAGE is a program that is funded by money collected from a recycling program and that is mostly used for materials for our weekly activities. We were lucky enough to have a group sponsor a trip to the Long Beach Aquarium. The children had a great time spending some time out of their community and experiencing a new and educational environment. Many of the children have requested to do another similar trip to the LA Zoo. The funds will help pay for admission for our 20 children and 5 supervisors. And they will once again get to experience an educational setting where they can be engaged in.

This is the most important part of Sahayta's mission. Sahayta tries to provide cancer drugs to needy patients. The priority is to treat patients with good prognosis who cannot afford their costly treatment.
